Explanation of Fees Waitlist and Reservation Fees Q & A

Your Agreement to secure Tenderheart Chihuahuas for purchase of a puppy is indicated with your initial payment to us, and places you on our waitlist. Only approved homes may be added to our waitlist, please do not send money via zelle or paypal without our expressed consent of approval.

Why do we ask for waitlist fees and what are they for ?  This mutually agreed amount allows us to effectively plan and manage our breeding program by securing good homes for our puppies in advance, allowing us to plan breedings, with the knowledge that good homes are waiting. Your good faith commitment to our program places you in priority status, as this signifies your serious intent to buy a puppy from us.  Planning is key for us to focus on healthy dams and puppies. Your initial payment/commitment covers our time spent with you for consultation and any questions, as well as our time contacting references, reviewing applications, and preparing your client file, etc. This is a non-refundable payment for the services mentioned above; however, your amount paid is not lost, as we deduct the total amount paid from your puppies’ total purchase price. Our waitlist fulfillment is in the order the fee was received, however we never take more than ten names for our waitlist, to keep the wait time a manageable and pleasant experience.  If you choose to wait for a certain look, size, or sex, you may pass on pups offered for a period of up to two years. Your deposit will apply toward the total price of your selected puppy once chosen; puppy pricing varies by puppy, as discussed at the time of application approval.
